Michael made his first stock trade on October 20, 1987. He remembers it well because it was the day after the worst single day stock correction in U.S. history, “Black Monday”. He gathered up his paper route money and bought RG&E stock in his father’s account. The lesson of buying low and selling high has been ingrained in him ever since.
Today, Michael holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, or CRPC® designation from The American College of Financial Planning. He lives in Honeoye Falls with his wife Lisa and two daughters. Michael enjoys movies, boating, sports, history, and yes – politics. He is on the Rochester Jewish Film Festival Committee and the Center for Holocaust Awareness and Information.
